At Kingfisher Community Learning and Support, we are dedicated to empowering adults through lifelong learning. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality education that fosters personal growth, professional development, and community engagement. We believe in the transformative power of education to enhance lives, promote social equity, and build stronger communities.
ABOUT
Kingfisher Community Learning & Support (KCLS) is owned and run by Debbie Derbyshire. Debbie is a highly accomplished Learning Professional with a long and successful track record spanning 20+ years. Debbie started her career in adult learning as a sessional IT Tutor. Debbie specialises in building strong relationships within the local community and managing the delivery of a wide variety of training and learning to members of the community and groups with specialised needs.
KCLS offers adult learning in a variety of subjects, IT, Internet and English as a second language (ESOL). Learning sessions are often run in small groups and 1 to 1 sessions.

KCLS helps communities laise with external agencies, e.g. Local Authority, Citizens Advice Liverpool, local drug and alcohol rehabilitation agencies, centres for learners with disabilities, to help support people with rehabilitation, mental health and further education needs.
